My first CD is named for Vera Hall , a singer from Alabama, who recorded mostly in the 1930’s and 1940’s. I heard her beautiful a cappella singing when I was first learning the harmonica. Her singing helped me think of the harmonica as a voice. All the pieces on this album are solo harmonica. They were recorded in 1991 and 1996.
